come on home to green river.

On Tuesday, I decided to travel to the western NJ/eastern PA region for a little day trip. My boyfriend works in Milford, NJ, which is one of many tiny river towns in that area. Every time I visit any town in that area, it makes me want to move there SO badly. It's quaint and pretty, but not too rural or far from the major cities. It's just lovely. I met up with Frank for lunch at this amazing hot dog place with Dachshunds everywhere! Dachshunds are my favorite dog, so you could imagine the elation I was feeling--hanging with my boy, eating delicious hot dogs, and looking at a wall of weiner dog art. I mean, seriously?

After Frank went back to work (ha!), I drove down by the water for a while, listening to CCR. I made it up to Riegelsville, which is another quaint town that I want to move to. I found this awesome spot to take outfit shots that I actually had been to before with Frank last year! This time, the water level was so high that the beach was underwater. A slight bummer, but it was still very nice and sunny and pretty! I'm wearing a dress that I just bought from the "shop my closet" sale from Amanda of The Upside of Wonder. She's a real sweetie pie, and she shipped this dress in the blink of an eye! Go check it out!

After that, I drove to Bethlehem to drop some clothes off at The Attic. They took a lot of my old stuff, and I got some sweet things for the shop and a pair of shoes for myself in exchange. And I have even more credit left over for the next time I go! It felt so good to get rid of clothes I don't really wear anymore. I was sad for a second, watching them go, but in reality it's so much better! Minimalism, Lauren. Minimalism! By that time, Frank was out of work, so we met up for dinner at The Riegelsville Inn. So delicious!
