fake-baking • banana bread, an easy thanksgiving dessert!

Today is Thanksgiving. For some people, today means leisurely eating turkey, watching football, and getting a little drunk with your family. For others, today means slaving over a hot stove, panicking about how the stuffing will taste, and battling a mountain of dirty dishes. I really love cooking and baking and all that jazz, I do..just not on holidays. I'm a firm believer in making things as easy and stress-free as possible. A few weeks ago, my mother bought this banana bread mix because she said she used to eat it all the time when she was younger. I (fake-) baked it for her as a surprise and she said it was just as good as she had remembered. In my opinion, this is a perfect dessert to make for Thanksgiving because it's so simple! Regardless of whether you love going nuts in the kitchen or would rather have your dinner at Ruby Tuesday, I wish all of you a very Happy Thanksgiving! :)

The ingredients and instructions were pretty basic, so you don't need much help from me here.
1. Put on "Bye Bye Birdie" song clips on Youtube (this step is optional, but highly recommended). 2. Mash up two bananas.
3. Combine bananas with powder packet, eggs, and water. 4. Mix well. 5. Put in pan. 6. Bake. 7. Eat.
You're welcome! ;)
