My Favorite Fragrances

Chance by Chanel.
My best friend, Kim, introduced me to Chance when we were in high school. This perfume has become my go-to going-out scent. I wear it almost exclusively when I'm going to parties, bars, etc. It's gotten to the point that if I wear it during the day, I get confused. Haha!

From Sephora: Waves of freshness collide with floral notes and merge with sensual, sweet and spicy elements. Surprising femininity, energy, daring, a hint of sexiness and delicious naughtiness. CHANCE is a fragrance drawn like a tightrope above the unpredictable. It's a fragrance that calls exciting what others might call dangerous.

My Favorite Fragrances

Lola by Marc Jacobs.
Frank bought this for me for my birthday a few years ago. For me, this scent is so strongly associated with memories from that autumn. Every time I spray it, I instantly feel happy.

From Sephora:
This warm floral bouquet conveys the free spirit of today's sexy, modern girl - she is playful, cool, and flirtatious. The long-lasting, day-and-night scent opens with pink peppercorn, pear, and ruby red grapefruit. Blooming midnotes of rose, fuschia peony, and geranium make a feminine statement. Layers of vanilla, warm tonka bean, and creamy musk create a sensuous drydown. The bottle's exquisite, multi-layered cap is a bursting bouquet with bright modern colors that pop against a matte black background and rope-inspired, gold metallic neck. The silhouette is inspired by Marc's fashion collection.

My Favorite Fragrances

Daisy by Marc Jacobs.
I bought Daisy because I liked the bottle. Is that bad? Regardless of why I bought it, I love it! Daisy is my every-day scent. I actually keep it in the center console of my car so I can give myself a spritz before I go anywhere. It's quite handy, but I'm going through it so quickly. I might have to pick up another (bigger?) bottle soon.

From Sephora:
Enter the world of Daisy: fresh and feminine, with a playful innocence. At the heart of Daisy is a floral with vintage edge: violet. Sophisticated, with a touch of whimsy, violet captures the eclectic, vintage flavor of Marc Jacobs' feminine, edgy designs. Always elegant, always enchanting - but not too serious - Daisy is a sparkling floral bouquet, spirited and fresh, wrapped in comfort and warmth.
Notes: Strawberry, Violet Leaves, Ruby Red Grapefruit, Gardenia, Violet Petals, Jasmine Petals, Musk, Vanilla, White Woods. Style: Bright. Alluring. Eternal.

My Favorite Fragrances

Victoria's Secret Island Escape.
It seems like this product might be discontinued, which bums me out. It smells like summer. Straight up--summer in a bottle. I've been using it a lot lately since it's been so muggy and hot outside, but I suppose I'll have to use it sparingly.

Find the vintage tray in the shop here.

  1. Daisy!! Definitely my current favorite scent. I got it in an xmas gift set with two other roller balls. Which smells just as good ... but does not come with the awesome plastic flower petal cap that I have to keep from gnawing on whenever I'm in Ulta. (Is THAT weird? Yes, yes it is.)
