Gypsy Warrior Party in Hoboken!

Two weeks ago(?) I was lucky enough to attend the Gypsy Warrior party at Room 84 in Hoboken, celebrating the opening of their new shop. I picked up my event-going accomplice, Maria from Little Tree, we grabbed some coffee and headed north. The party was super fun, and we got to hang out with some old friends (Hey, Lauren!) and new. I attended this party right around the time I read "#GIRLBOSS" by Sophia Amoruso of Nasty Gal fame, and between the two I was so motivated and inspired. I love seeing women create these empires, and it gives me hope for my business-future. High fives all around! Also, we got gift bags from the party (my favorite piece of swag is a dope-ass mood ring) and pizza afterwards, so the entire night was a win.

As I mentioned in yesterday's post, I wore the same dress to work and to the party. I switched out my jeans, sweater, and mocs for a vintage sequined blazer, heels, and some fun jewelry. Above is a little day-to-night comparison. I wish I got a better photo of my evening attire, but I was having too much fun. ;)

glasses: Derek Cardigan via Coastal.com
sequin blazer: vintage, from an estate sale (similar)
velvet dress, worn as a top: vintage via Goodwill
shoes: Simply Vera from Kohl's (similar)
bag: Madewell Camden Satchel (no longer available online)
