Carcosa Shoot with Diana Van Horn Photography!

Image
If you follow me on Instagram (@awildtonic), you've probably heard me mention my friend Diana. Di and I have been friends for years, but have started hanging out a lot (too much?) lately. She and I are similarly-minded in that we both have small creative businesses that we're trying to make our full-time jobs. We're constantly yelling at/bullying each other into being better and because of that, I'm very glad to have her in my life. Also it doesn't hurt to have a professional photographer as a friend, especially when you're a blogger and a ham in front of the camera. ;)

So far we've done two shoots together, one in April that I'm calling the Carcosa shoot (anyone watch "True Detective"?) and one in Asbury Park the other day. I realized I never shared photos from the first shoot except on IG, so here are a few of my faves. Check out Di's Facebook page for more: Diana Van Horn Photography and follow her on Instagram here: @dianavanfarley.

Scout Salvage First Friday Event!

Image
Last weekend, I drove down to Philly for my first ever First Friday and to meet the fabulous Betsy of Scout Salvage fame. We talked shop over a few PBRs and I got my tarot cards read for the first time. Eerily accurate. Still feeling weird about it. Her shop is such a dream, full of amazing vintage t-shirts (my weakness), furniture, taxidermy, and so much more. And Betsy is a doll. If you live in or around Philly, go check out Scout Salvage at 21 N 3rd Street. (See what I wore here.)
