the print shop • Sarah's Chicago gift!

Sarah

A few weeks ago, Sarah contacted me on Etsy to see if I could make a custom map print for her best friend. We worked together to get the print just right and I sent it on the way. Sarah let me know that she and her BFF love the print, and she sent me this photo and amazing feedback. Thank you again, Sarah! :)

My best friend and roommate just had a birthday and I went on Etsy to search for "Lost and Found" themed gifts. I wanted a sentimental art print involving maps. Luckily I found A Wild Tonic to meet that need and then some! The birthday girl loves the Edward Sharpe song this print is inspired by, so the sentiment was perfect. It got even better when I saw Lauren would customize the print with a map of your choice. We worked closely together regarding the location and Lauren was able to find a great map of our neighborhood in Chicago. I really appreciated Lauren's attention to detail and commitment to my tight timeframe.
The print was the favorite of all her gifts! I had to take a photo of where she chose to place the print: front and center on her dresser, next to a weird flea market Obama puzzle. A little vignette of her Chicago. She might take the print to work as a nice reminder, maybe motivator, of coming home. I think the print is a perfect snapshot of our lives right now. Lauren thank you so much for making her gift. It really was a pleasure and I hope to work with you on future gifts!
