The Road Trip • Day Six!

It's been quite a while since I posted about last year's road trip. I actually really hate it when bloggers take events and stretch them out into days and days worth of posts, but today I'm going to be one of those bloggers, unfortunately. I'm sorry if you guys hate it too; I just really want to share the photos! I hope you can forgive me. ;)

Another delicious continental breakfast. We couldn't get enough.

Outside of the Civil War Museum, which was so very interesting.

I normally dislike when people take photos in cemeteries, but this one was too pretty.

We had lunch at the The Bulldog, which had delicious food, water bowls for pups, and a tap fountain outside (all the money tossed in the fountain is donated to animal charities).

Amazing lunch outside. We got to keep the pint glasses, too!

The Garden District had so many beautiful houses. The architecture was seriously incredible. Many of the houses had historic plaques on them, explaining when the house was built or if someone notable lived there.

Nothing happened here, though. ;)

Poolside beers and blogging.

Social media birthday shout-out!

Last night in NOLA. :(

Our last day in New Orleans was fun, but very low-key. Actually, that's a good way to describe the whole trip. We didn't want to do too much and burn out, especially with a full day of driving the next day. We spent most of the day in the Museum and Garden Districts, checking out the Civil War Museum, a cemetery, and all the beautiful architecture. We had lunch at a pub and took the tram back to the hotel. After a few hours of poolside beers and blogging, we went to our room to eat leftovers from the night before and watch "South Park." Crazy party animals, we are.
