To paraphrase the great Yoda: don’t try, do! I’m so guilty of saying “I’ll try to do this” or “I’ll try to get that done this week.” But what if I just said “I will get that done this week” or “I’m doing this!”
So often, we find ourselves procrastinating on things, perhaps because we think it will be harder than it is, or because we want something done perfectly. But what if we stopped trying and started doing? (Is that the tagline for Home Depot or something?)
