Nibnaks!

We're all busy people and sometimes our eating habits aren't the best, right? (See my Instagram/#iamgross for an example of that.) That's why I was so excited to try Nibnaks and implement healthier eating habits into my daily life. Nibnaks is a company that makes delicious and healthy snacks that are low-calorie with no added sugar and no preservatives. They're also gluten free, high in fiber, and full of vitamins and minerals. And how cute is the packaging? I'm a sucker for good typography!

Nibnaks are a great alternative to something unhealthy! For example, I was running late to work the other day so I grabbed a pack of Nibnaks as I ran out the door instead of stopping for a doughnut or another fast food choice. The dried fruit is just as tasty and so much better for me. I felt much more energized, too!

On a trip into Brooklyn last week, I got caught in some really gnarly traffic. Emergency road work kept me stuck on Staten Island for two hours! I hadn't eaten lunch, and wasn't going to eat dinner until much later. Fortunately, I had tossed a Nibnaks into my purse that morning, just in case. I cracked it open and feasted. The dried pineapple tastes like candy, and it satisfied my appetite til long after the traffic cleared.

I also took some Nibnaks with me on a jog. Yes, I snack while exercising.

By consuming more natural, wholesome ingredients such as dried fruit, nuts and seeds, you’ll have increased energy, and help your digestive system stay in tune. Nibnaks have an ideal portion size, and they hand-weigh each ingredient to get the right balance – the snack is enough to satisfy and keep you feeling full!

The "Under the Boardwalk" pack is my favorite! Pineapple, mango, banana, and only 90 calories. Yum.

ALSO! Nibnaks is offering a special promo code for A Wild Tonic readers; take 20% off your first order by entering code aw2uv at checkout. Valid until 2/28/14.
