just married.
Today, I went to the civil marriage ceremony of a close family friend. I met this woman when I was in high school. She was married to her high school sweetheart, who died of cancer just months after their third child was born. I baby sat for the kids on and off ever since. We fought; we took vacations together; my parents treat the kids like grandchildren. They became family.

At some times, I felt like I was a single mother of three, and it was hard. I admire this woman for all that she went through over these last nine years, and I'm so happy she found a man who she is so happy with. Congratulations, Debbie! :)
