(Sing the title of this post to the tune of "The Electric Slide," k?) Oh hey, it's Monday again. How's it going, friends? As I've said (seemingly hundreds of times) I've been super biz lately, but last week especially. I had plans almost every night and work all day/every day. Needless to say by Saturday night, I was a total zombie garbage person. I got a lot of sleep that night, though, and woke up bright and early on Sunday to meet with Maria! We're working together on a fun project that I can't wait to post about. I shared a few peeks on Instagram though. Check it. After that, I went out to get White Castle with my sister (because I was still a total zombie garbage person no matter how much sleep I got) but not before stopping to get some quick outfit shots.

After lunch, Erica passed out on the couch and I watched "Would You Rather?" on HBO Go. Has anyone ever heard of this movie? I put it on because I love Brittany Snow, but I'm not sure how I feel about it. Plot summary from IMDB: "Desperate to help her ailing brother, a young woman unknowingly agrees to compete in a deadly game of "Would You Rather," hosted by a sadistic aristocrat." It was pretty strange, but it kept my attention (and then some) and D'Angelo Barksdale and Peter McCallister, the father, were both in it, so that's a five-star rating from me right there. Sundays are now full-days off for me (instead of being off during the day and working at night), so I drove up to Jersey City to hang with my pal Elena and her cat. We drank wine, ate grapes and Babybel cheese wheels, half-watched the Golden Globes and "Girls," and gossiped because we are girls and that's what we do.

Anyway, I was contacted by Rosewholesale a few weeks ago to do a product review, and after much deliberation, I chose this fun geometric-print sweater. There are so many cute items on that site, it was really hard to pick just one thing! Rosewholesale is one of the largest online clothes wholesalers, offering trendy but inexpensive clothing. I'm really glad I went with this sweater because I've already worn it a few times, and I am sure I will wear it much more this winter. The size is one-size-fits-all, which worried me at first, but this style of sweater is supposed to be a little oversized, so it's perfect on me! One last thing to note: shipping takes a while because it comes from China, so if you need a certain item by a certain date, plan accordingly. :)

Also, I just want to talk about this necklace. Erica bought it for me for Christmas last year, and even though I don't often wear it, it's one of my favorite possessions. The moon on the pendant is a depiction of what the moon looked like on the day (night, I suppose) I was born. So cool, huh?

  1. I just saw "Would You Rather" last week. It was so awful, but I felt compelled to watch it till the end (which was strangely satisfying)...I read a review that said something like Would you rather watch this movie or have every hair on your body plucked out one by one? I thought the acting was decent despite the horrible stuff they had to do.

  2. Love this outfit // that purse is amazing. I've been eying the neon azalea one that J. Crew has online for awhile now. So ready for spring already! How's the leather quality/interior?
