DIY • Vintage Christmas Card Photo Album!

DIY • Vintage Christmas Card Photo Album!

This is probably one of my favorite DIYs ever. Last Christmas, I made this photo album of all the pictures my sister and I have taken with Santa. Our family simply kept them in an envelope, but I decided some of these gems were worthy of a better display. I found this vintage card (so cute, ugh!) in a box in the basement and thought it would be perfect. As with most of my DIYs, this one is pretty simple, and it's cheap! I made it entirely with items I had around the house. Psst, this makes a really great last-minute Christmas present for your parents or siblings!

Supplies:
Christmas card
construction paper
scissors
photos
glue, tape, glue dots, or something similar
ribbon

First, I decided how many photos I wanted to display, then cut the appropriate amount of pieces of construction paper (folded in half). Next, I used ribbon and glue to secure the paper inside of the card. (You could probably also use staples for this step.) My card is shaped a bit oddly, so I trimmed the paper to fit. I didn't want any green paper poking out of the front. Finally, I adhered the photos to the pages. I put ours in chronological order. You can also add little captions, dates, or other memories on the paper. And that's it!

  1. This is off topic slightly, but I have a birthday card from my second birthday that is the exact same card!
