austin: day four. brunch, symposium, and the trip home.

Here are the last of the photos from the Texas Style Council! On Sunday, a bunch of bloggers went to Another Broken Egg for a delicious (seriously incredible) brunch. After taking some silly photos in the parking lot, we headed over to the Blanton Museum of Art for the Symposium (I'll have another post on what I learned at the symposium in a few days). After that, Maria, Roxy, Renée, and I went to Kerbey Lane Cafe for some mind-blowing queso (WITH GUACAMOLE IN IT!?!), some other good food, and some great conversation. The next day, Maria and I woke up early for our trip home. We were sad to leave Austin, and even more sad when we missed our connecting flight. Fortunately, the airport diner provided us with seats, margaritas, tons of comfort food, and the largest ice cream sundae I ever did see. I barely put a dent in it! A four-hour travel delay was kind of a crummy way to end such a fantastic weekend, but it wasn't too bad. I slept like a baby when I got home though..that's for sure!
