WEARING • Goodwill Thrifting + Let's Make Habits!
Friday night I was bitten by the thrifting bug. Frank came with me (bless his heart) and took some photos for me while I picked up a few new/vintage skirts and a pretty candy dish that's now home to my ring collection. I ended up buying three skirts without trying them on, because I figured if they didn't fit, I could just list them in my shop. I ended up wearing one of them the next night to dinner (that WEARING post is coming soon) and it's a little too big. :( To the shop it goes! This is my typical thrifting outfit. Nothing fancy, mostly aiming for comfort, sometimes with a scarf in my hair. I seriously can't take these mocs off, they are too comfortable. Also, my little tattoo has healed nicely. I'm so in love with it!
Before I go, I wanted to talk a little bit about Jenny's recent blog post/challenge. It's called "Let's Make Habits," and if you click the link on my sidebar you can read more about it on her blog. I'm a big fan of planning and making goals for myself, even though I might not always stick to it. I think that this challenge will be a fun way to push myself to actually stick to it. Here we go, week one!
Choosing a Goal (August 10): Your Goal + the Motivation Behind It
My goal is to blog at least once per day, every day. I've already technically failed for this month since I was in Texas for the first five days and was really busy offline on the 8th, but I'm not going to let that stop me! While in Texas, I spoke with a lot of people (and also had a lot of time to think) about where I want this blog to go. For the most part, it's a companion to my Etsy shops, but I want it to be more than that. I think with just a little bit of hard work, I can accomplish this goal easily! :)
